From the right there, you have Anna Daniels, Cheri Marsden, Tessa Daniels, Jenny Marsden, our very own Anna May, Rebeka Delery (with two balls?? getting ready for a double wammy I guess), Daisy and Amy Marsden.
Then we all went over to the Marsdens and ate ice cream with ALLLL sorts of junk to put on top of it, everything from Oreos to syryp to gummy somethings......then Anna opened gift and then they played some games. Fun times!!!!

I Love Progress!!!

It has been one month today since we began working on several different big projects that have to be done before we can put our house on the market.

One was our front door......we had a very odd door, more like one that belongs on a camping trailer and it opened out, which is totally wrong.......
Hmmmm..........I am sure you have heard "square peg, round hole".......how about "big peg, little hole".................or "really big door in little door hole", this will be interesting!!

AHA!! Done!! Brilliant!! Thank you to a good friend for helping Dennis with that one!!
We also needed electricity in the back room, another friend from church was good enough to help Dennis with that, so now there are lights and they work with the switch!! Miraculous!!
Yesterday morning a man came and replaced the old tub which was cracked and put in a new one, another project completed!!
Then that just leaves the railings on our decks...........a group of guys are coming tomorrow after church to help Dennis with that...............we hope.................we are supposed to get a couple inches of snow................the lumber is ready and waiting..............

OK..........when we went to church the deck was bare, by the time we were out of church, there was about 6 inches of snow, we ended up getting about 8 inches out here!! So, there is the deck and lumber, where are the guys!?!??!
Half of them are up a tree..............and the other half are pretty smart. They are in the shop cutting the pieces for the railing, clever guys!! These guys are awesome by the way, we told them they did not need to come since it snowed, but they insisted and they did make some progress and said they will come back out when the snow melts..........
I think these guys figured it out best......popcorn, recliner, blanket and a movie..........
So, we thought there was a really good chance we would be able to put our house up for sale around February 1st!! All the rest of our projects are smaller scale and can be worked on as people look at the house. Welllll.......the snow is not melting and the railings are not done.

It is times like this we are VERY glad we can know that God is in control. He has a plan, and He has perfect timing every time, ALWAYS!! So, we are resting in that, trusting God and we are very excited to see what God is going to do. It is hard to believe we were able to accomplish so much in one month....God is Good!!

Reality......

After arriving home, we took time to have Christmas together with our whole family being together!! Then......reality hit!! We have been swimming in boxes ever since!!

Walking through London.......

At the end of our visit in December we took the train to London. We had one short afternoon to walk through Kensington Park and on to the Palace. To the west of Kensington Palace is a greenhouse that was built for Queen Anne in the 1700's. Well.....now it is a tea room!!!
So, guess what we did in London?!?!?! Had Tea at The Orangery!!

More interesting sights........

A very cute mailbox........

A place to park your dog.............hmmmmm.......

Sightseeing in Cornwall......

Here are some interesting sights we saw while in Cornwall...........

Look what Dennis found!! His very own castle!!!

Pendennis Castle......How funny is that?!?!?!?
